Our client is arguably the UK's leading independent fire protection solutions company with an ever-expanding portfolio of products and services, leading technology and a client base boasting some of the UK's largest companies. Due to continued growth they now have a rare and exciting opening for a new business focussed Business Development Manager to work a national territory, but ideally be based in the South East within easy commute of their Buckinghamshire head office.

The main purpose of this role is to develop and implement new business sales strategies across all product and service ranges to ensure sales, profit and margin targets are achieved in line with overall business objectives. As a field based, client facing sales professional you can expect to spend approximately 1 day per week in our client's office with the remainder spent in the field. This national territory will require solid diary management, a mixture of self generated and company generated leads and the ability to tender, deliver and close often complex and high value fire safety deals.

The ideal candidate will posses a minimum of 2 years business to business and client facing sales experience gained in a new business capacity. It would be a distinct advantage but not a necessity to have had industry experience as full product training will be made available if required. You will be experienced selling at management/board level and be comfortable liaising at all levels. You will be highly motivated, committed to customer service and have first class communication and presentation skills.

The success candidate can expect a negotiable base salary circa 26-30k with an achievable OTE exceeding 45-50k plus a quality car and an executive benefits package.
