Candidates will need to demonstrate previous, hands on, material or inventory control experience with an engineering organisation.

The job-holder will manage material availability for a specific allocated stage on the production line. Responsibilities of this role will include the following:- Scheduling of supplier material to ensure 100% availability to the stage, whilst keeping inventory levels low. Day-to-day contract management of suppliers, the management of all material, including rejects and modification material for the depot.

Work closely with other functions including Planning, Site Procurement and Assembly personnel, to ensure all requirements are known and communicated. Experience & Qualifications:

Candidates must be able to demonstrate some previous experience within the Manufacturing/Engineering sector, ideally in a similar role and including knowledge of MRP systems. You should also possess basic contractual knowledge/understanding. You should have good interpersonal skills and be a confident communicator at all levels. You must be computer literate, to include MS Office packages and have a good all round standard of education.

Experience of SAP is essential.
