| We are currently looking for a Section Head of QA to work for a leading Biopharmaceutical company based in Staffordshire. Our client is dedicated to designing robust processes for its international life science customers that deliver quality, clinical, and pre-clinical products. To comply with the rigorous regulatory requirements of today our flexible and resourceful teams devise innovative, streamlined and optimised solutions to overcome the hurdles in manufacturing proteins, viruses, DNA, and cell products. All our programmes meet cGMP standards worldwide with full regulatory support. A vacancy has arisen for a Section Head of Quality Assurance within the Quality Department, reporting to the Corporate Director of Quality. Main duties will include: * Working within the Corporate QA Division, managing various aspects of the quality system associated with the Keele facility to maintain compliance with current corporate, regulatory and industry best practice guidelines. * Managing and developing staff within the Quality department through the performance management system. âx0080;¢ Recruit staff as required to meet contract needs. âx0080;¢ Working in close co-operation with process scientists, production staff, commercial staff, clients and regulatory bodies to assure quality and to deliver successful projects for our clients. âx0080;¢ Deputise for and assist the Corporate Director of Quality when required. âx0080;¢ Undertake routine QA support activities to support client contracts. This is a high profile role within the company, and whilst the role is primarily based at the Staffordshire facility, the person appointed will be expected to take a proactive leadership role in quality across the company. The ideal applicant will possess a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or equivalent qualifications together with extensive experience in quality assurance and staff management .
