A vacancy has arisen for a Section Head of Quality Assurance within the Quality Department, reporting to the Corporate Director of Quality.

Main duties will include:

* Working within the Corporate QA Division, managing various aspects of the quality system associated with the Keele facility to maintain compliance with current corporate, regulatory and industry best practice guidelines.

* Managing and developing staff within the Quality department through the performance management system.

âx0080;¢ Recruit staff as required to meet contract needs.

âx0080;¢ Working in close co-operation with process scientists, production staff, commercial staff, clients and regulatory bodies to assure quality and to deliver successful projects for our clients.

âx0080;¢ Deputise for and assist the Corporate Director of Quality when required.

âx0080;¢ Undertake routine QA support activities to support client contracts.

This is a high profile role within the company, and whilst the role is primarily based at the Staffordshire facility, the person appointed will be expected to take a proactive leadership role in quality across the company.

The ideal applicant will possess a degree in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or equivalent qualifications together with extensive experience in quality assurance and staff management .
