Manufacturing Engineer - Medical Devices

Description : Manufacturing Development Engineer Manufacturing Engineer - Medical - Humberside Manufacturing Engineer required for a medical product company in Hull. Candidates must have a degree in an engineering discipline, or an HNC plus a number of years relevant experience of manufacturing / process engineering in high volume manufacturing environments. You will need to be a ‘process expert’ which includes all facets i.e. tooling, materials, machines, packaging etc. You main purpose is to implement your considerable expertise in the field of high volume medical device manufacturing. Other duties and accountabilities include: Promote and maintain high standards of H & S and environmental obligations in accordance with policy To perform all activities in compliance with relevant GMP and Quality Systems standards and specifically with FDA Quality Systems standards and EN46000. Promote and develop continuous improvement in manufacturing quality. The adoption and promotion of a lean philosophy. This is an excellent opportunity with an expanding and successful company.
