| Assembly Integration and Test Manager (Composite materials) initial 6 months contract based Stevenage rate to 25ph The applicant will have experience with composite materials in the Aerospace /Space industry. Will need experience with airframes. This person will probably be working at Production Manager/Manufacturing Manager level. They will be coordinating the work of a small team of mechanical technicians (circa 4 - 5). They will report any slippages in the project to the project manager, liaise with the shop floor to find out if there are any problems etc and report back to the PM. They will also need to control schedules and costs and report this back to the PM. They should be familiar with following quality processes & procedures and conducting FMEA's Qualifications and / or Skills: Essential: As a minimum all candidates shall have an HNC or equivalent in an engineering discipline Proven Leadership role with proven competencies in; Implement quality management Project start-up & Initiation Planning and control; input management and proactive maintenance of schedule compliance Project review/evaluation Risk Management Project closure, handover and succession planning Interpersonal skills; assertion, persuasion and influencing skills.
