Our client are market leaders in the provision of innovative environmental technology solutions to a diverse range of market sector end users, and as a result of continued success and a planned programme of strategic growth, are now seeking to recruit a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly self motivated Electrical and Electronics Product Development professional to compliment their established Project team.

The successful candidate will be degree qualified in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and will be able to demonstrate at least 2years experience of project management and product development within a manufacturing environment incorporating electrical and electronic technology.

Due to the unique nature of the technology involved in this position, the role will particularly suit an engineer who has additionally gained hands on experience in other disciplines as part of the product development process including mechanical engineering, design for assembly, manufacture and prototyping, and who thrives within a technically challenging environment and is able to work autonomously or as part of a successful team. Experience of projects allied to atmospheric chemistry applications would prove to be distinctly advantageous.

You will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of high level software languages and firmware and be responsible for undertaking PCB breadboarding test and development, electrical and electronic fault-find, diagnosis and repair and EMC testing activities, in accordance with industry standards, RoHS and WEEE directives and CE marking regulations.

As the organisation take projects from concept and prototype design through to manufacturing and project delivery stages, experience of tooling, machine shop processes, sheet metal fabrication and plastic injection moulding will prove invaluable in this challenging role, although in addition to the essential technical requirements for this position, it is imperative that the successful candidate is a polite, respectful and committed individual - a self starter focussed on "the bigger picture" and keen to progress their career within a dynamic and similarly professional environment, so a flexible approach, exceptional communication skills and an all - round dynamic and enthusiastic approach are paramount.
