Our client is an industry leading global provider of financial data, news and analytics. Their best of breed service provides real-time and archived financial and market data, pricing, trading, news and communications tools in a single integrated package to corporations, news organisations, financial and legal based companies around the globe. They now have an exciting opening for a Senior Sales Specialist (Business Development Manager) to join their Central London based Data Sales team.

As a Business Development Manager you will be responsible for the direct sales of reference and real-time financial data solutions. In this mixed role, you will develop new business whilst managing existing accounts, providing solutions to corporations and to individual user groups within front, middle, and back office clients, Europe wide. Whilst primarily based in London, you will have an open remit to sell across Europe so a second European language may be useful.

Applications are being accepted from those candidates who possess a solid understanding of real-time data/feeds from both a sales and technical (user) angle. It is anticipated that you will have in excess of 5 years solutions sales experience with a proven record of achievement selling complex data solutions into the financial sector. You will be hard hitting but professional in your approach, have a strong personality with the charisma and communication skills to liaise at the highest level and above all posses the drive, determination and business acumen to truly contribute to this global business.

The successful candidate can expect a negotiable base salary in the region of 60-80k with potential movement either way. There is also an uncapped OTE of 100-120k, plus an additional and generous benefits package.
