| Due to continuing growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Global Business Development Manager to join an established manufacturer of seals and sealing products is looking for a to specialise in the Oil and Gas industry. Based in Blackburn this position will involve extensive travel.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing strategic business relationships with customers
- Developing and maintaining a strong sales plan - Developing strategic account plans - Developing annual sales budgets - Growing sales and gross margin - Identifying customer's requirements and tailoring solutions to them - Performing basic design and material selection evaluation and providing quotations for custom applications - Providing perspective and guidance to promotional strategy in the markets served - Visiting the headquarters of the facility and managing projects The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience of selling into the oil and gas industry
- Experience of selling technical sealing products or similar; pumps, valves, etc - International selling experience - Excellent communications skills - A proactive approach to selling - Strategic thinking ability - Language skills preferred - A mechanical engineering degree or similar is preferred A salary of 55k is offered, benefits etc negotiable.
