You will be providing your procurement support, advice and expertise to not only colleagues but customers and stakeholders which will involve providing a key input into the delivery of commercial best practice for a variety of services and contracts. There will be a particular emphasis on managing a portfolio of consultancy contracts and value for money projects.

Main Responsibilities :

* Promoting commercial awareness

* Develop contract and supply strategies

* Participate in project teams and provide professional advice and guidance

* Lead on contract negotiations

* Undertake supply chain analysis

* Promote best practice procurement principles

Skills and Experience :

* Procurement experience across a range of goods and services.

* Ability to deal with a heavy workload

* The ability to influence and persuade others

* Strong analytical skills

* CIPS professional qualification or working towards

There is the possibility that at the end of the contract the role could become permanent.
