You'll act as clinical lead, delivering a high quality diagnostic imaging service to patients, practitioners, referring Consultants and GPs, through a wide range of specialist radiographic examinations. Your remit will include taking responsibility for the staff and services we provide, by inspiring and motivating your team.

For this role, you must be a skilled and accredited Radiographer, with general X-ray competency, including theatre radiography, mobile radiography and bone densitometry. In addition, you should be an experienced manager, with problem solving abilities and the aptitude to deputise for more senior managers as and when required.

It is essential that you have a BSc, or equivalent, in diagnostic radiography, plus a postgraduate qualification in a relevant specialist area, and current HPC registration. Ideally, you are also a qualified and trained Radiation Protection Supervisor.

Participation in our On Call rota - which includes evenings and weekends - will be expected, so a flexible approach to working patterns is essential.

An excellent communicator, with a customer focus and good IT skills, you must be enthusiastic about gaining a wider, more holistic, understanding of patient care.
