Position: Kitchen Trainer
Location: West Midlands / South West (Happy to see candidates within a 2 hour commute of Wolverhampton)
Salary: 20-25K

CLIENT:
Our client manages over 500 pubs nationwide, employing 10,000+ staff. The successful training and development of their employees is essential to ensure their staff run great pubs and can deliver first class service and standards to customers.

ROLE:
This role includes delivering Kitchen training to new builds and pubs undergoing major refurbishments. You will support the development of our people through our training programmes and being involved in the launch and roll out in 2010 of our new Chef Development Programme. In addition you will visit their existing kitchen teams to help coach them and improve standards, confidence and speed of service.

A key part of the role will be to deliver training and coaching to our kitchen teams for new builds or following a major refurbishment, you will also play a crucial role in the aftercare provided to the site post opening.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) You must have knowledge and experience of working within a busy kitchen and preferably have previous experience of delivering training.
b) Extensive travel throughout our pub estate is an integral part of the position and will therefore require you to have independent transport and a driving license.
c) Ideally you will be located within the Midlands or South West, within a 2 hour drive to Wolverhampton
d) Have the ability to write training workshops
e) Able to work regular evening and weekends.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
a) Ideally you will hold a training qualification such as Group Training Techniques and/or Craft Trainer Award.
