Position: Production Manager
Location: Birmingham
Salary: 35 - 42k per annum

COMPANY:
Our client is a Birmingham based employer, within the manufacturing industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
a) Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule.
b) Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.
c) Ensuring that the production is cost effective.
d) Develop and track improvement in reduction of planned hours.
e) Coordinate, set up and implement standard operating procedure for all production operations.
f) Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.
g) Manage the adherence to prescribed procedures to ensure first pass quality meets or exceeds planned goals.
h) Working out the human and material resources needed.
i) Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programs.
h) Implement and drive continuous improvement activities through implementation of change management process and best practices.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
a) Proven track record in managing production.
b) Ability to create and manage production budgets
c) Strong interpersonal skills
d) Proven man-management record
e) Experience of working with Trade Unions/within a unionised environment
f) Has participated in a cultural change programme

You may have experience in the following roles: Production Manager, Production Team Leader, Production Team Supervisor, Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Team Supervisor, Production Supervisor.
