We are looking for a Mechanical biased Maintenance Technician to work for an Automotive manufacturing company based in Ivybridge, Devon.

The successful candidate will have the following :

Experience as a hands-on Mechanical Fitter

Working knowledge of Electrical installations

Flexibility and adaptability

Work under own initiative

Tools are provided by the company

You must be time served to City and Guilds or NVQ level 3 in a relevant subject.

You will be working on replacements, bearings and bolts on steam boilers, hydraulic and electrical machinery.

You will be working a weekly rotating shift:

Week 1 - 06:00 - 15:00 Mon - Fri

Week 2 - 15:00 - 00:00 Mon - Fri

The salary starts between 17,500 - 18,500 but rises to approx 20,000 per annum after 3 month probation. There is plenty of overtime available which tends to be carried out over the weekend and is paid at 9.74/h PAYE.
