An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Support Scientist to take a central role within their Product Development and Manufacturing facility.

Operations Support Scientist role:

Reporting to the PDM Operations Manager initially, the Operations Support Scientist will play a central role in the management of the product pipeline. They will:

- Monitor stock levels and identify problematic products and work with the pipeline, characterisation and business development teams to resolve these
- Ensure that new purifications are scheduled and projects initiated in line with our restocking policy
- Be responsible for designing a significant proportion of the peptide immunogens for our new product suggestions
In addition the Operations Support Scientist will provide administrative support for our Supplies Team

Operations Support Scientist candidate must:

- Have a biological sciences degree and laboratory experience would be an advantage
- Have good IT skills
- Due to the varied nature of the job the Operations Support Scientist applicant must be able to organise and prioritise their work, be an effective communicator and an excellent team player
