Our client is a progressive group of Housing Associations with an extensive housing portfolio.

This role will be responsible for providing a range of legal work as part of a new Home Ownership Services team being formed at the group to manage a portfolio including leasehold, shared ownership & market rented properties. The work involves undertaking conveyancing on behalf of the team, litigation in relation to the recovery of rents and service charges and dealing with a range of ad hoc legal queries generated by the team’s wide range of functions.

Reporting to an Assistant Director and working closely with a team of managers this role would suit a flexible and team orientated individual who enjoys a busy environment and variety in their work. This post will also require dealing with a wide range of contacts including customers and liaising with the other departments.

A good understanding of Housing Law is essential, preferably with experience of dealing with leasehold management issues. With a legal qualification and experience of conveyancing or litigation work you will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and a strong customer focus.
