| Asset Planners PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To own the Above Ground Asset Plan for the business and ensure that investment needs of the business are adequately funded and implemented to time cost and quality. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: To manage the long term above ground asset management plan. To prioritise business investment requirements with due consideration of cost, time and quality. To develop and implement planned and reactive optimisation to maximise efficiencies whilst delivering key investment outputs. To work closely with Operations and other functional areas in defining asset maintenance scheduling to optimise plant and maximise operational efficiency. To liaise regularly with cross business functions to ensure outputs are fit for purpose and that the below or above ground asset plan reflects business need. To sponsor projects in conjunction with the wider business and ensure that the deliverables are robust, fit for purpose and meet operational need. To produce project briefs, signed off by the business for delivery, where appropriate, to Engineering for procurement and deliver of the capital works. To liaise with other external bodies to ensure that SEW is at the forefront of new technology. OTHER SIGNIFICANT DIMENSIONS: To deliver the short term and long term asset management plan which will deliver Ofwat, EA, DWI and Defra outputs whilst focusing on operational efficiency. Management of the above ground capital plan of Between 30M and 40M / annum ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: To apply for this job ideally you will be a qualified engineer with experience in asset management below or above ground experience will be suitable. You will need Understanding of operational and asset management aspects of the business. We are looking for engineers with experience in the water sector, feasibility studies or design experience on reservoirs, WTW's or pumping station. You will need to be a strong team player with the ability to work unsupervised and to produce quality outputs to key dates.
