The suitable candidate will possess good all-round knowledge with a bias towards financial accounting. The role will include analysis of the companies financial transactions, investigating their EC sales, intrastat and VAT. You will possess experience of dealing with the month end process and have covered all aspects of the ledgers. Other aspects of the role will include general administration and assisting with the training of Sage payroll which is due to implemented in the coming weeks. As a result it is critical that you have previous experience of Sage Payroll and have a thorough understanding of the package and its workings. You will not be required to run a payroll as the clerk is on site but assist them with their training and be there as a point of contact when necessary.
