| Progressive have been tasked with sourcing a Lead E&I Engineer to fill a new vacancy with their Drilling and Well Completion client in Aberdeen. The Lead E&I Engineer is designated to supervise all E&I engineering and design personnel. The main responsibilities of this position are:-
To ensure that the applicable legislation and standards are applied across all aspects of E&I delivery to the Project. These include: British Standards, NORSOK, ATEX, IEE Regulations, Company procedures and processes, Client codes and standards, HS&E Regulations and EU Directives.
To identify and implement safe, cost effective, fit for purpose, field proven designs.
To maximise opportunities within design, to improve rig operability and maintainability.
To provide engineering solutions that demonstrate added value to both Seawell Operations and Client.
To provide full technical interface with all other discipline leads and Subcontractor and Specialist Engineering Vendors.
To assess and identify deviations to standards where necessary, ensuring acceptance of Client Technical Authorities.
