Audit Senior - Aberdeen - Permanent Role Job in Sydney (Scotland, UK)

The client is looking for an Audit Senior, to join their busy corporate team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant who is committed to delivering first class service to clients, has excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working as part of a team. Potential candidates must have already gained considerable experience of auditing and financial reporting for a range of different clients. You will be responsible for the management of client company accounts of all sizes. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for identify client s key audit areas and preparing a plan to address them. You will be responsible for the audit process for individual clients for full life cycles, culminating in a final analytical review of accounts to ensure they are in line with expectations.

The role will involve team leader responsibilities and therefore you must either have experience of monitoring progress and performance of team members or at least have demonstrated this in certain situations in the past.

Technically, appropriate candidates for this role must be a qualified accountant with a strong audit background. You will need to have a good understanding of the different requirements of the FRS s. Excel proficiency is essential and candidates must also have previous experience using accounting production software.
