I am currently working an NHS client who is seeking an Information Specialist based in the South East of England.
Currently the team is implementing a new data warehouse and needs support backfilling its permanent team, who need coaching and up-skilling in SQL. Key skills include,
Essential:
A confident self-starter who can hold their own in a busy environment, proactive and assertive
Knowledge of PAS data extracts
Experience in SQL server 2005 or 2008
Advanced skills in SSRS / SSIS /SSAS
Advanced MS Excel skills
Knowledge of CDS, SUS, SLAM, NHS Data dictionary, can build and maintain CDS and SLAM
5 years NHS experience in an information management analyst role with significant Acute experience
Able to understand and document user requirements, document systems and document and run tests as well as develop
Advanced dashboard and balanced scorecard design skills
Able to train (e.g. show and tells, in classroom environment) and coach in an office environment, and happy to do so
Good people skills, diplomaticDesirable:
Oasis PAS experience
Has worked on a data warehouse upgrade
