| A Leading Global Pharmaceutical company are seeking a QC manager for an initial 6 month contract basis A world leading Pharmaceutical company based in the South-East are looking to bring on an experienced QC manager on a contract basis starting at 6 months to join and manage their expanding QC team. Responsibilities include:
-Testing materials against approved specifications and procedures
-Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to approved standards
-Qualified laboratory equipment to be used
-To maintain all Quality and Quality Management Systems in compliance to approved procedures
-Writing SOP s
-Internal and external auditing process and to carry out audit schedules
-Preparing for and supporting in authority inspections
-To detect deviations and CAPA s and investigation of these
-Implementation of change control activities
-Support the implementation and management of stability programmes In addition, there will be management duties such as: -Managing a team of 20-25 analysts
-Supervise and mentor QC specialists and Senior QC specialists
-Overseeing and monitoring quality control procedures
-Oversee recruitment in the QC department The client requires that candidates have a minimum Bachelors degree. Candidates must also have at least 5 years of relevant Pharmaceutical industry experience alongside experience in GCP, GLP or GMP compliance.
