| An excellent opportunity for a Cardiac Assistant Nurse Manager to work with a hospital located in the Middle East - Saudi Arabia. My client are one of the largest health care organisations in the Kingdom. You must be familiar with the following procedures so you can supervise the Staff Nurse: CABG (on pump/off pump)
Valve replacement
Pediatric open heart surgery e.g TOF, Switch, Fontan, Glenn, Tapvd, AV canal, AVSD
Non pump - PDA, COA, BT shunt, PA banding Clinical Practice Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
Demonstrates knowledge and clinical assessment skills.
Documents nursing interactions on the patients clinical record.
Supervises care provided by maintaining high visibility (90% clinical presence) to patients/families and staff in the clinical areas.
Completes assigned responsibilities within established hospital, divisional and unit specific guidelines, policies and procedures, standards, protocols etc.
Demonstrates effective communication and collaboration skills when interacting with patients/families, other health care team members and staff of other departments. EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
The successful Assistant Nurse Manager will have a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and/or Diploma. Five (5) years current clinical experience in specific area with demonstrated leadership abilities. Specific certifications as required in area of assignment. Package:
