My client, an Energy Major, is looking to grow their Corporate Strategy team due to increased demand and a focus on the changing domestic energy space: A number of corporate strategy analysts are to be hired to provide detailed and analytical insight into the UK power and gas market and competitive environment with the aim of delivering the annual Strategic Plan, and assessing different strategic options for the business.
The Strategy Analysts will be required to participate in all of these activities supporting the Head of Strategy and the Strategy Manager as required. Responsibilities: Establish a modelling methodology in which the performance of the firms existing asset portfolio is compared with major UK competitors on a risk-return basis. Assessed numerous strategic opportunities to improve the firms competitiveness, supporting originators throughout project development.
B2C and B2B Strategy Reviews Gas Strategy Review: Responsible for the development of long term gas strategy, including defining requirements for gas storage and supply contracts. Market & Competitor Analysis Develop models and strategy to compare economics of offshore wind zones and company assets for M&A Excel and VBA required |
