Search Marketing Executive (PPC) - Global Information Company Job in Sutton (Surrey, South East, UK)

Our client, a FTSE 100 listed company has grown to become a global leader in information and publishing. As producers of market leading, industry focussed information, magazines, hard copy and wed based directories, conferences and much more they continue to offer an innovative approach to both business and consumer information. Due to continued growth, they now have an exciting opening for a Search Marketing Executive (PPC) to work from their Sutton based office.

As a Sutton based PPC Executive you will work closely with both brand marketers and search marketers, in an exciting and challenging role managing PPC campaigns to support and promote a growing portfolio of web products. More specifically you will manage a range of PPC campaigns across the major search platforms - Google, Yahoo & Bing, identify other web-based PPC advertising opportunities, manage PPC spend across vertical markets and web services and generate new campaigns as required. You will also conduct extensive keyword research, liaise with search marketers to ensure optimal use of PPC by taking full account of organic performance and regularly measure the effectiveness of PPC campaigns by interpreting metrics via search engine reporting tools and the intelligent use of web analytics.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 18 months PPC experience gained working as a PPC specialist in either an agency or in-house environment, with a strong focus on conversion and ROI. You will have a good knowledge of search engine marketing, both paid and organic, the ability to generate and test creative copy, knowledge of social media platforms and their advertising opportunities and a high degree of numeracy and the ability to interpret and act on web analytics.
