Examining Engineer Contractual Location: Manchester
Key accountabilities include:
Undertake the reviewing of examination reports, including risk scoring and recommendations, checking that reports are compiled and submitted in accordance with client requirements, then reviewed and forwarded to Network Rail in accordance with the specification and contractual timescales.
Work as a member of a central CEFA Reviewing Engineer pool to maximise resource utilisation and alleviate peak and backlog issues nationally.
Undertake site checks/audits for both examination report quality and SCMI compliance and provide data to the Examining Engineer
Undertake site examinations, within own sphere of competence, for non-routine structures and tunnels.
Undertake designated specialist responsibilities eg: Large and Unique examination, tenanted arches, additional exams on sensitive structures, roped access exams, coastal defences exams, underwater exams, annual competence reviews etc (Huxley Associates Limited acts as an Employment Agency and an Employment Business) |
