A leading global high frequency algorithmic trading firm is looking to hire a trade desk engineer to support and optimise the trading system IT infrastructure, including exchanges, networks and applications. The role is multi dimensional, giving the analyst the opportunity to work alongside traders and developers to solve issues with the system, research latency, lead projects and participate in business analysis.

Key responsibilities: Maintaining Trading Systems/Exchanges, Troubleshoot issues, Application Support and Release, Lead Projects, Change Control, Reconcile Trades and position breaks.

Key Skills: Python Scripting, Linux/Unix Administration, Trading Application Support, TCP/IP networking.
