Bar Mill Finishing Facility Engineer Job in UK

SUMMARY:
Follow up and supervise all the technical process of rolling mill plant at finishing facilities to achieve the targeted production plan figures with the highest quality aspects in addition to trouble shouting and problem analysis to set the corrective action, prepare the finishing facilities budget, follow procurement process and inspect the received spare parts at plant warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Follow up and supervise all the technical process of rolling mill plant at finishing facilities area to achieve the targeted production plan figures with the highest quality aspects.
2. Perform the trouble shouting and problem analysis to set the corrective action.
3. Prepare the finishing facilities budget, follow procurement process and inspect the received spare parts at plant warehouse.
4. Manage and supervise rolling mill processes and perform any necessary modification to product cooling program design, bundle forming, packing and or equipment after consulting mill section manager.
5. Coordination with quality engineer / section to perform necessary inspection and perform the necessary testes for final product to grant its quality.
6. Follow up and report on the execution of rolling mill plant production plan through (daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports).
7. Motivate subordinates through training programs, enhance their skills and generate competition spirit.
8. Achieve the targeted product quality figures nominated in company annual plan.
9. Follow up and report on the execution of product cost reduction plan.
10. Prepare with shift leader the plant work standard for finishing facilities process and equipment operation and explain it to all his sub-ordinates.
11. Follow up the plant maintenance activities to avoid plant interruption and achieve the targeted plant availability.
12. Prepare the plant trouble shouting manual which covers all plant process / working areas and avoid the frequent troubles.
13. Follow up and report on the plant breakdowns then organize and supervise the problem solving process.
14. Share in preparing the rolling mill plant investment plan.
15. Prepare the technical reports requested by rolling mill section manager
16. Follow up the execution of company regulations.
17. Keeping the plant clean (house keeping supervision).
18. Keeping the safety regulation of personals and equipments.

A. Qualification: University degree in Mechanical / Production engineering
Perfect in English language / computer skills
B. Experience : minimum 5 years experience in similar plants
