Sub - Station Section Head Job in UK

SUMMARY:
Plan and follow up the execution of Electrical preventive maintenance and failure activities for Sub-Station area operation which consist of 132/33 KV Sub-station , Static Var. Compensator plant to insure the highest availability and achieve the production plan with highest quality and lowest cost.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1- Prepare Electrical maintenance plans & follow up the execution.
2- Make failure analysis & put the suitable countermeasures.
3- Prepare technical reports & submit to section manager.
4- Prepare spare parts budget and follow up providing the needed Electrical spare parts.
5- Upgrade Electrical equipments to achieve better performance
6- Manage internal affairs for Steel Plant Electrical section.
7- Coordinate between Steel Plant Operation, Mechanical section & other sections.
8- Experience in maintenance of Sub-station equipment preferred ABB equipment (transformer, SF6 and vacuum switchgear system) and DC-battery charger system.
9- Experience in maintenance of Static Var. Compensator equipment

B. Qualification: Bachelor of Electrical Power Engineering
C. Experience: 10 years minimum
