Salary of up to GBP35,000 per annumReporting into the FC main duties will include - Weekly Reporting MVA
o Preparation, analysis and understanding of weekly Manufacturing Variance Analysis Forecasting
o Review actual and forecast spend levels with cost center owners
o Prepare forecast cost base and bridging pack in order to understand forecast movements Reporting Engineering spend
o Produce a detailed report by cost element and line items of all engineering.
o Active participant in engineering spend meeting
o Produce month end spend report by category to feedback performance
o Produce KPI report
o Control of Engineering stock and obsolescence Monthend activity
o Review cost centres for accurate reporting and deviations
o Ensure accruals and prepayments are prepared
o Ensure capital costs are matched to work completion
o Ensure all Slow Moving and Obsolete stock are recoded Capital
o Financial appraisal for capital Investment proposals
o Prepare capital Projects Status report for site Capital meetings
o Review Construction In Progress report and capitalize projects in a timely manner
o Carry out physical audits
o Identification of potential impairment. Product Costing
o Knowledge of Standard costing
o Complete product costing requests in a timely manner
o Calculate potential costs / savings via various improvement activities.
o Authorize release of new product costs
o Audits and follow up. Overhead Activity Rates
o Prepare and set plan and activity rates as required.
o Reflect changes in asset base and cost structure in new activity rates. Business Plan Tracking
