Assistant Financial Controller Job in Caerphilly (Mid Glamorgan, Wales, UK)

Reporting into the Finance Director the role will involve the below :

? Completion of the quarterly VAT return for submission to HM Revenue and Customs
? Preparation and finalisation of Group reporting on a monthly basis for review by the FD and CFO before submission.
? Production of the monthly management accounts
? Preparation of corporation tax information for review
? Responsible for implementation of and adherence to the key internal controls required managing the business unit effectively and complying with the requirements of Sarbannes Oxley.
? Responsible for the completion of SOX processes
? To Assist the FD in the management of the centrally controlled finance function
? The supervision of the purchase and sales ledger functions.
? Updating and monitoring of the Companies fixed asset register
? Assisting the management team in the completion of regular verifications to ensure accuracy and completeness
? Production of the Annual statutory accounts
? Assist the Leadership team with any adhoc analysis
? To Assist the leadership team in the preparation of the Annual budget
? To asses training requirements of staff through a structured performance review process
