As a compliance officer within this team you will cover both advisory and surveillance duties, these will include but not be limited to - Keeping abreast of regulatory developments and maintaining a strong working knowledge of business activities.
Sharing this knowledge with various areas of the business through the provision of timely and accurate advice and guidance
Monitoring trading activity for suspicious transactions/strategies and exchange rule breaches.
Desk & post-implementation reviews.
The ideal candidate will be from a regulatory centric background and possess an understanding of commodity markets; however applications from strong candidates with a solid understanding of derivatives will be welcomed.
