| Progressive Global Energy have been tasked with sourcing a mechanical design engineer to be based in Aberdeen with a global Oil and Gas service company. The position is permanent and can pay up to GBP55k per annum with additional benefits such as 6.5% company contribution pension available from 6 months and initially 28 days holiday, rising to an extra day per year after 2 years service to a maximum of 33 days. The company are one of the best in their field and are looking for individuals who are proficient in the skills that are utilised in their current engineering team such as the following: - Strong design background with knowledge of structural steel and fabrication
- Familiar with tolerances / checks
- Proven ability to undertake design calculations both classical and computational modelling (frame analysis) Individual need not necessarily be from the oil and gas industry; a mechanical / structural engineer with design / steel experience will be suitable.
