| Studio / Artwork Operator – Milton Keynes up to GBP26K SUMMARY OF JOB To create and/or amend artwork and reproduction files in accordance with the supplied customer brief and technical specifications as required. REPORTING RELATIONSHIP Reports to the Studio Manager. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 1.To create artwork and/or reprographic files in accordance with the provided brief, customer supply requirements and technical specifications utilising the full suite of Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and ArtPro or any other pre-press software provided as an approved toolset. This includes: 1.The evaluation of incoming files 2.Correct naming and version control 3.Correct and effective file management 4.Adhering to standard operating procedures (S.O.P.s) 2.To ensure the highest standards of quality within the operation 3.To communicate any issues arising, in a prompt and professional manner 4.To prepare digital proofs as defined under the appropriate and specific manufacturing S.O.P.s 5.Perform other duties as requested by the Operational Management team. JOB REQUIREMENTS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform all essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required: •Creativity and independence •Organisational, interpersonal and communication skills •Good technical knowledge of relevant software; including (but not exclusive to) the use of Apple Macintosh OS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, Artpro, Esko tools and companies Business Systems EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Two to three years related trade experience.
