| A top London based brokerage requires a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join their team, focusing primarily on credit analysis of hedge funds and private investment vehicles. The firm s Global coverage gives access to over 500 financial derivatives contracts and 200 commodities derivatives contracts to it s clients, allowing a one-stop service to optimise the management of their financial transactions. Senior Credit Risk Analyst key responsibilities:
- Independent decision making within company credit policy and strong analysis and presentation for proposals that fall outside of this
- Performing detailed credit analysis to review existing and new client files and make credit approval decisions
- Manage own portfolio of clients
- Exposure Management: work in partnership with reporting analysts and the Market Risk team to manage high-risk situation to protect the company Key Skills:
- A proven track record in Credit Risk, with a concentration in futures and options, OTC cash FX, equities, SWAPS etc
- ISDA and CSA Credit Risk experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills that lead to successful decision making
- A solid working knowledge of MS Excel (VB/macro skills a bonus), Access and Word
- Excellent communicator: role requires interaction with IT, sales, trading, senior management, credit, external vendors, and clients
- Experience managing and developing junior analysts
- 4 year University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
