Product Design Engineer (FEA / Mechanical) Grimsby Job in South Yorkshire, North East, UK

Owing to a large increase in projects for 2012, Huxley Associates and a leading manufacturer for the Oil & Gas Industry are looking to recruit a Product Design Engineer on a permanent basis, for their site based bear Grimsby.

With a strong Product Design / Mechanical Design Engineering background, the Product Design Engineer will have the following experience:
- Graduate in Engineering or Physics
- Familiar with the manufacturing processes, ideally with experience relevant to composite materials
- Solid Mechanics / FEA experience
- New product qualification / testing methods
- Good knowledge of solid mechanics, ideally within composite components
- Knowledge of materials - Stainless steel and high end engineering polymers
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics
- Knowledge of materials' behaviour at Cryogenic temperatures.
