| Exciting opportunity for a Ambulance Driver to work with an excellent hospital located in the Middle East, Bahrain. My client are a new organisation, opened in 2011. Bahrain is one of the most desirable places to work in the Gulf. It is a fantastic tourist center and also home to the American Navy's Fifth Fleet. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your prime responsibilities will be to drive ambulance to transport sick, injured or convalescing patients. Maintain the ambulance and equipment therein in a manner that complies with all infection control procedures. Ensure full compliance with all infection control procedures in the provision of care to patients. Manage the supply of disposable items in the ambulance required for use by the Paramedic staff to ensure they are fully stocked at all times. Report maintenance requirements for the ambulance equipment. In addition to the above you will be responsible for Staff Development, Health & Safety, Quality and Accreditation, Professional Development and Confidentiality. EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: The successful Ambulance Driver will have a EMS Licensure from country of origin. Three (3) years experience as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic with two (2) years as an Ambulance Driver. You must have a license to drive a bus with a clean record. Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) PACKAGE: Salary awarded on qualifications and experience. Tax Free earnings.
