| Position is Located in SAUDI ARABIA and will require relocation for the duration of the employment PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Monitors and directs, in collaboration with the Project Management Team, the construction ground and elevated Belt Conveyors to ensure objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget parameters. 2. Prepare technical planning and scheduling of works including department on-boarding and induction (procedures, guidelines, policies, etc). Collaborates with his Superintendents in directing and supervising of all work forces manpower resource, materials and equipment loading. 3. Oversee and supervise all Subcontractors’ scope of work and related activities. 4. Inspects work in progress to ensure conformity with QA/QC Quality Management System, requirements and specifications, Industry Codes, Saudi Aramco Standards and Procedures and provide technical advice to resolve problems. 5. Assess and reviews the project Key Performance Indicators to determine accurate status of the project and making tactical decisions to maintain project on target. 6. Manage changes to Engineering scope, prepare correspondence and assist in obtaining written client approval on all changes before proceeding with the work. 7. Reviews periodic status reports and presents reports for General Manager-Operations, including weekly and monthly progress summary report. 8. Prepares technical reports for corrective actions if project becomes behind schedule or overspends budget, and presents to General Manager-Operations with recovery plan. 9. Ensures all work groups associated with the Belt Conveyor System have effective resources and perform with the expected efficiency and productivity. SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs supervision with precaution and safety awareness and while supervising others, has the responsibility in ensuring their compliance with the established safety policies and procedures. EXPERIENCE With 5 to 10 years experience in general engineering, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical/Power plant, Pipeline Installation projects including 5 years of actual experience in supervising and overseeing the installation of at least 5 kilometer Belt Conveyor system. Should have strong structural and mechanical familiarity in the design, module and installation of various components e.g., electrical motors, idlers, rollers, pulleys, rubber belts, drives, diverters, hoists, etc. and various materials and equipments supplies. Familiar with the following control and safety devices; Belt Misalignment Switches, Speed Switches, Pull cord switches, Heat detector, Belt weighing scale, Spray water dust, suppression system, Level switches, Tension switches, Thermo-sensitive cable and Belt rip detection system. Has been responsible for completion of major EPC project. Middle East management experience is an advantage.
