| Quality Control Technician – Science Graduate (MC697-TT) Location: Lytham St Anne’s, Lancashire GBP14K - GBP17K Basic + Bonus + Healthcare + Benefits Working Hours: Monday – Friday (7:30am – 5:00pm) COMPANY
With a portfolio that has been technically proven through extensive field trials, my client have become recognised as an innovator in the supply of specialist Health Supplements and Medical Treatments to the UK and International market. Through further growth of their business, my client now wishes to recruit a Quality Control Technician to join the team. POSITION
Working alongside 5-10 production staff you will operate within a ‘clean room’ environment and be responsible for; • Reporting to the Quality Manager • Providing Production staff with bills of material, recipes, packing sheets and labels for the following day’s production • Providing product batch numbers, expiry dates and target weights to enable packers to fill the volume shown on the label • Ensuring production records are signed off by those responsible for the operation • Carrying out systematic checks to ensure compliance to specifications, standard operation procedures and GMP • Ensuring checks are documented and follow up actions are recorded • Ensuring any deviations are identified and reported to the Quality Manager • Supervise the sampling and collection of intermediate and finished products • Logging and recording samples on to a spreadsheet • Ensuring appropriate status labels are applied to the goods containers • Samples of raw materials, packaging components and finished products must be retained and archived so that all components are traceable at any time during the shelf life of the product • Ensuring that batch reconciliations are completed on a monthly basis and the data is passed onto the production planner so that stock levels are kept up to date PERSON
The successful candidate MUST live within 30 minutes of Lytham St Anne’s and be educated to degree level (2:1 or higher) within any Science discipline.
