Survey 59 - "59% of construction workers listen to the radio at work"
theCONSTRUCTIONjob.com recently found that 59% of construction workers listen to the radio at work.
We can look at this in one of two ways. Construction workers may find that listening to the radio spurs them on to working faster and motivates them to achieve results. On the other hand, with the high levels of fatalities reported across the construction industry today, maybe listening to the radio and singing along to favourites is causing a lack of concentration and is not helping the injuries and death rates we quite regularly hear about.
