Survey 55 - "The Olympics has already shed a positive light on the Construction industry "

72% of construction workers feel that already the 2012 Olympics has had a positive effect on the Construction industry, as found by a recent survey by theCONSTRUCTIONjob.com.

Although the games are several years away, preparations are heavily in place to ensure the Country and, quite specifically, East London will be ready not only for the sporting events but also the tourism and visitors it will attract.

Corinne Dauncey, a careers expert from theCONSTRUCTIONjob.com said: “This fast-growing industry has subsequently influenced recruitment as companies begin to construct, develop and expand buildings and sites. As a construction worker there are many opportunities currently available and over the forthcoming years this will continue to be the case as the country prepares for 2012.”
