Survey 42 - "What is the worst BAD habit one of your work colleagues
has?"
Throughout November, we asked our users about those annoying habits
that our colleagues have.
From the options listed, it was Smelly Sandwiches that came on top
at 31% of those who responded. 21% said BO and 18% said picking their
nose. This was then followed by Constant Chatter of which 14% of people
felt was most annoying. Texting on their phone generated 9% and 7%
said Loud Voices were the most annoying.
When we are working we are sitting close to others and generally notice
the habits of others - whether these be funny, scary, weird, disgusting
or rude. We spend such a long time with these people each day, that
when you start to notice something, you cannot stop and sometimes
this can become unbearable. Careful not to upset the person by screaming
at them to stop - if you get to a point where you need to say something,
try to be as subtle and sensitive as you can.
