Survey 100 - "National Sickie Day"
Almost a quarter of UK employees pulled a fake sickie day, unable to face another dreary day at the office and surprisingly 24% of these slackers were repeat offenders!
Results also revealed that some of the laziest employees come from the North West with over three quarters of them having falsely called in sick to work last year; this is compared to just 16% of those in the North East. Despite recession worries, a shocking 58% of people don’t feel guilty about throwing a fake ‘sickie’ day and were ready to admit to doing so. In Scotland, over half of the guilty culprits have done it on more than one occasion.
