You should write your CV with a fixed target in mind. Fundamentally, this should be the target job - and you would think this is common sense. However, a surprising number of people do not write their CV with this in mind. Indeed, a lot of people just write what they want to say, rather than get into the mind of the employer and tell him/her what he/she is looking to hear.
Addressing the Mind of the Employer
The best professional CV writers use their experience and expertise and specifically target CVs to fit the employer’s requirements. That said, this is far easier said than done, and not only takes time, but it also helps if you have a lot of experience in the field.
